DESCRIPTION:**Tickets will be on sale at midday on Friday the 31st of July on this page. \nJoin us for Monster Life Drawing in Netherworld’s Lost Souls Bar! \nIn conjunction with Fortitude Valley SFX queen Megan Farquharson Makeup Artist (IG @_mf_fx)\, we’re digging into a night of illustrations with a twist. We’ll provide you with the materials for a handful of still life and life drawing setups\, but in the way you’d expect from the Netherworld. You’ll be presented with fantasy\, horror and sci fi inspired models in costume and SFX makeup\, alongside creatures and items from the depths of the Netherworld. \nEach ticket comes with your first drink\, the materials and an evening of illustration guided by a host. \nThis session happens on Thursday the 27th of August at 6.30pm – grab a spot below!

DESCRIPTION:Netherworld and MFFX are thrilled to announce that we are teaming up once again for the Monster Makeup Massacre – our SPFX Makeup & Prosthetics Monster Makeup Competition! \nWe invite both artists and the general public to witness a parade of creative creatures strut the Netherworld catwalk. The event itself will happen on Sunday the 30th of August and is free to check out. The beauty and the horror of creative SPFX creatures of all types will be on display to witness! \nMFFX and Netherworld have been working on various projects for the last decade\, including our monthly Monster Life Drawing events. MFFX host workshops and classes at their studio in Wynnum which you can check out via www.mfarquharson.com/mf-fx-studio // @_mf_fx_studio. Netherworld’s Lost Souls bar will be dripping with talented creators from the fringes of the art toy scene from across Australia and beyond. Expect to find toymakers behind tables full of their weird and wild creations\, alongside exclusive releases contributed by renowned artists from across the globe. \nOur 2025 show brought together a cavalcade of soft vinyl designers and enthusiasts to spread the word of the holy moulded. It introduced this strange and kooky art form to a lot of curious cats and we can’t wait to double down.
