NETHERWORLD HALLOWEEN FOUND FOOTAGE SHORT FILM COMPETITION!
In 2019, a group documenting an extremely general creepy unknown subject disappeared without a trace. A year later….THE FOOTAGE WAS FOUND!
Folks, we’re running a Halloween competition and we want your home made found footage short movies. Think The Blair Witch Project, Paranormal Activity and Cloverfield. We want 30 second to 3 minute found footage movies filmed ON YOUR PHONE (Portrait style – holding your phone normally)! Go wild – you can be as weird, creative or gory as you want, as long as it’s fun and/or scary.
You can edit it using editing software or just film one single long set up shot. It’s not the technical skills we’re looking for, it’s sheer, spooky creativity we’re after.
Entries are due by Monday the 5th of October. To enter, we’ll need a dropbox link of the file sent through to info@netherworldarcade.com. The strangest entries will be included in an online short film presentation through Netherworld over Halloween with a slew of horror themed prizes to be announced in the coming week!
Remember to ALWAYS keep the camcorder rolling, no matter how little sense that might make.
