Join us in the Netherworld for the Holy Rollercoasters + Black Dog Cat Band – Live in the Arcade! It happens on Thursday the 25th of January at 8pm and is free to join in. The venue will be open well before then for beers, burgers and games!
The Holy Rollercoasters is a soul party band led by finger-snapping, harmonica-playing bluesman Jimi Beavis and a trio of horns including co-songwriter and jazz sax and composition maestro Andrew Garton. Their goal is to create a soul-stomp with lyrics you can muse on later.
After releasing two EPs, playing various festivals including Woodford and Sonic Masala; and a funk and psychedelic soul album take on Homer’s Odyssey Brisbane band The Holy Rollercoasters are stripping their music back to the dirty and simple blues, rock n roll and funk influences for something a little bit sweaty.
