The Netherworld has been ravaged by vampires and this spooky season the creatures of the night haunt the streets of Blüdsbane! Netherworld INVITES you in for a blood feast of events including a beer festival, a pinball nightmare, a VHS vampire mystery party, a self help conference for despondent vampires, a vampire carnival and of course, Halloween! This October 14th, the creatures of the beer soaked night invite you to sink your teeth into Monster Menagerie VI: Beers of Blüdsbane – our yearly celebration of vampiricaly delicious Australian breweries and sanguine art. This year we meet the extended family of a blood crazed coven that like to gorge on beers that are ravenously RED and nocturnally BLACK. The offerings sacrificed will include drops from 3 Ravens Brewing, Range Brewing. Sea Legs Brewing, Common Ground Brewing, Helios Brewing, Revel Brewing, Seven Mile Brewing, Working Title Brew Co and Hohly Water.

You’ll be able to grab a flight of 150ml of all 9 drops along with an enamel pin and 5 games tokens for $35.
To commemorate your vacation amongst the city of the eternal undead (and bats…so many bats), you’ll be able to purchase a set of Blüdsbane postcards, featuring the full vampire art Lucy G illustrated for the festival.
The Hellmouth Diner will be presenting a banquet of the ravenous to match with the beers that’ll be available on the day.

VAMPCON 2023 is an interactive quest night where the Netherworld will be transformed into a hub for the modern vampire, complete with NPCs handing out quests and puzzles and all of the vampiric goodness we can pack into one night!

The vampires of Blüdsbane are hungry for blood and have taken to magically manipulating its ‘amusement machines’ looking to ensnare unaware victims to feed upon – you have been BITTEN BY THE PINBALL NIGHTMARE!

You must brave this terrifying day of pinball alone, taking on a series of blood curling unique pinball challenges that will test you to your core.

Over 8 vampire themed pinball machines, you’ll confront 8 different creative and weird challenges that will inhibit your senses, your co-ordination and your soul. The nature of these challenges will be revealed on arrival.
Each $25 ticket comes with your first drink, a Dracula enamel pin designed by Emetic Art and the opportunity to fend off a vampire attack.

Peculiar Pages is back! Join us from 10 am on Saturday the 28th of October for a halloween themed showcase and market for established and emerging Brisbane horror writers. Meet local talents weaving tales of horrific delight and see the work that is being produced right on your doorstep! Featuring works from Alexander Michael, Zachary Ashford, Greg Chapman, and more, the morning promises to be a great insight into the world of writing, publishing, and all things spooky!

It happens ahead of our big Halloween festivities on Saturday the 28th of October from 10am to 1pm and is free to join in.

On the Saturday before HALLOWEEN in the eternally dark town of Blüdsbane, a nightmarish vampire parade marches down Brunswick St towards the five ways of hell! Netherworld & Tragic Beautiful invite you to feast upon the blood offerings of the CARNIVAL OF BLÜDSBANE.

Everyone that dresses up for this pre-Halloween celebration will receive a free vampire enamel pin and 5 games tokens – maybe a few more pieces of arcade silver if you look the vampire ‘Carnival of Venice’ inspired part.
Blüdsbane’s Netherworld will have Hellmouth Diner specials fit for a blood feast, dripping red cocktails, live music, sideshow acts, face painting, fortune-telling and coffin booths!

Tragic Beautiful will have a limited edition show bag available for purchase on the night, filled to the blasphemous brim with exclusive Carnivàle inspired items.

The celebration happens on Saturday the 28th of October from 6pm until 1am and besides a half pint of blood, is free to join in. Word to the vampire wise – it will be busy, so head down in burning daylight hours if you’d like to avoid the wait.

The town of Blüdsbane, nestled on the outskirts of the Netherworld is hosting a vampire themed mystery VHS evening the night before Halloween! We’ll be digging into a double feature of movies on comfortingly low-definition Video Home System tapes from the world famous Two Bit Movie Club video library. The twist? We won’t be revealing what those two movies are until you’re already at the event. BYO garlic and wooden stakes.

Join us for Netherworld’s favourite night of the year – HALLOWEEN! As we bloody well should be, we’ll be celebrating all hallow’s eve with all the spooky, ghoulish enthusiasm that creatures of the night should have.
We’ll be trading late on this cursed Tuesday night for the vampires of Blüdsbane will be making their final stand. We’ll be dressed up on the evening and we want to see you dressed up too – so much so that anyone that arrives in Halloween costume will get 5 free Netherworld gaming tokens and a Netherworld Halloween enamel pin!
We’ll be joined by iiWii (8.30pm) and Grieg (9.30pm), who’ll provide the musical monster mash for the evening live in the arcade alongside some freaky vinyl friends all evening in the front bar. Expect devilish drinks from the and terrifying treats from the Hellmouth Diner.

We’ll have a karma keg on raising funds for the Bat Conservation and Rescue Qld Inc (http://bats.org.au ). We’ve gotta look out for our bat friends!

Bat Conservation and Rescue QLD is an entirely volunteer-run organisation dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation of microbats and flying foxes in the greater Brisbane area.
