Rediscovering the game when he started working here, Tyson Hargreaves took the world record in 2017 and held onto it proudly for some time. Heart break was to follow, when rival Jackson Alexander Smith in Melbourne’s Bartronica took over the record, creating an instant interstate and inter-bar rivalry.

We tracked the torment Tyson went through in our short documentary ‘The Rise & Fall of Tyson Hargreaves’ to which Bartronica recently replied with their own video to rub salt into the wounds of our fallen hero.

 

 

 

Brisbane dweller Benjamin Csikos contacted us after Tyson achieved his original record and showed us a newspaper clipping and diary entries proving that he actually held the original at age 14 and made in the late 90’s Jackson Alexander Smith recently invited Benjamin to compete against him in Melbourne – Smith was ultimately victorious.
