These are strange, strange times.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that we’ll be temporarily closed as of tomorrow, Wednesday the 18th until at least the end of March amidst growing concerns over the current global crisis. With our arcade machines, board games and interactive events, Netherworld is a relatively contact heavy venue and a busy venue – we feel given the nature of our pub, the most responsible thing to do is to take serious precaution for our community and our staff. We’ll be open again when it’s appropriate and can’t wait to share a pint with you when this all blows over.

The denizens of the Netherworld are so supportive and passionate, and our thoughts are so strongly with all of you throughout this period, from vulnerable members of the community to the countless small business’ and their staff that are about to go through the hardest challenge of their lives. As a business, we’ll be supporting our casual staff and as a collective, retreating into hermit isolation for a little Netflix binging and Animal Crossing (early release plz).

All our current events through to the end of March are cancelled. For ticketed events, these will all be refunded shortly. We really love these events, so our remaining Brewsvegas events and Two Bit Movie Club’s Dunefest will be postponed until a later date, with first opportunity to purchase tickets to previous ticket holders.

In the meantime, stay safe, care for one another and feel free to drop any Netflix or games recommendations below.

All our monstrous love,

Netherworld
